If your employees' breaks differ from shift to shift, it can be a good idea to use the time clock to register when they go on and off break. Punching in and out of breaks works for both the in-app time clock as well as the terminal time clock.
Enable punching in and out of breaks
To allow your employees to punch in and out of breaks, enable the settings 'Allow employees to edit their break' and 'Check in and out of breaks during the shift' in the time clock settings.
