Commenting on a shift:
When you add a comment to an individual shift, only the assigned person (and other administrators and managers) can see this comment.

You can either add a comment when you create the shift or edit an existing shift to add a comment. Once the comment is placed, the employee will be notified right away.

When you create a shift, you can click on the chat 💬 icon to add a comment. When you type a comment it is automatically saved.

To add a comment to an existing shift you can look up the shift in question and click edit shift. Next, you can click on the chat 💬 icon to add a comment. Should you want to edit a comment you can also do it this way.
Commenting on a day:
When you add a comment to a day everyone in the department can see the comment.
This is how you add a comment to a day:
When you right-click on a day you will see the 'add daily note' option appear. When you click this you can add a note to the day. Once the comment is placed, all employees who are working that day will be notified right away.

1. Can I delete a comment?
Yes, when you navigate to the relevant shift or day you can clear the comment field. When you do this, the comment is no longer visible to anyone.
2. Can employees also add comments?
No, employees cannot add comments to shifts or days.
