Approving shifts with modified working hours.

There are 3 different reasons why a shift is sent by you for review: 1. when working hours are registered with the time clock, 2. when employees request to change the times of their shifts, or 3. when employees create a shift themselves (nr. 2 and 3 are only allowed if a specific setting is enabled).

1. When working hours are registered with the time clock.

If you've enabled the time clock, the clocked hours will be sent by you for approval.

2. when employees request to change the times of their shifts.

If you've enabled 'Allow employees to modify their working hours' in the schedule settings, you're employees can modify their working hours if they differ from the scheduled hours. If this happens, the shifts will be sent by you for approval.

3. when employees create a shift themselves.

If you've enabled 'Allow employees to add their own shifts' in the schedule settings, you're employees can create shifts for themselves. If this happens, the shifts will be sent by you for approval.
