If your workplace has the Pro- or Pro+ subscription and it's enabled for your profile, you can keep track of your leave balance directly in the app.
The leave balance in Workfeed is quite simple. Your administrator can define your accrued leave hours for you. Afterwards, the leave balance is calculated based on the registered leave throughout the schedule.
How to access your leave balance
To see your overtime balance, click on the palm icon 🌴 in the top right corner of your home screen.
Now you'll be able to see the leave balance. Click on it for a more detailed overview.
When you have been assigned accrued leave hours, you have also been assigned a start date for the leave balance. This means the date it started calculating how much accrued leave hours you have based on the registered leave in the schedule. The period shown at the top of the leave overview is from this start date to today.
You might also be able to see some adjustments to the balance. These are made by an administrator/manager. These will typically occur if you, for example, get more accrued leave hours or you use more leave, such as holiday.
How to request leave
By clicking on the blue plus icon ✚ on the leave overview page, you can request leave. From here, you can request leave in terms of holiday, sickness (compensatory time if your workplace is using the overtime bank and has set one up for you), and other types of leave if your workplace has set up custom leave types. FAQ
Can I adjust my own leave balance?
No, you cannot adjust your own overtime balance. An administrator/manager has to make the adjustments to your balance. If you have any corrections, please contact your nearest leader.
