You can easily adjust the schedule interface to meet your preference — directly from the schedule view. Here's how:

Changing the schedule interface

You can customize the interface by clicking on the '👁' icon at the top right of the schedule.

Different personalization options

There are several different personalization options, we will walk through them one by one.

1. Sorting shifts by role or time span:

There are two ways to sort shifts in the schedule, by role or time span. When you choose "Roles," the shifts are sorted by roles and the name of the role will be magnified visible above the shift.

When you choose 'Time span' the roles will be sorted based on the assigned time span of the shift and this will also be highlighted above the shifts.

2. Profile pictures.

When you enable 'Profile pictures' you will see each employee's profile picture or initials in the schedule.

3. Hours.

When you enable 'Hours', the total number of hours scheduled on a day will be displayed below the schedule. Should you wish to see the total hours of a particular role or employee, you can select a role of choice above the schedule or an employee on the left side of the screen to highlight those hours relative to that day's total hours.

4. Labor

When you enable 'Labor', the total labor costs based on the scheduled shifts on any day will be displayed below the schedule. Should you wish to see the labor costs of a particular role or employee, you can select a role of choice above the schedule or an employee on the left side of the screen to highlight the labor costs relative to that day's total labor costs.

5. Revenue

When you enable 'Revenue', an empty field is added below the schedule in which you can indicate the revenue for a day. If you also enable 'Labor' and 'Labor percentage', Workfeed will automatically calculate your labor percentage based on the labor cost and revenue of that particular day.

6. POS data

When you enable 'POS data', Workfeed will automatically retrieve your sales data from your POS system in real-time and visualize it below the schedule. When you click on the sales figure you'll be able to take a deeper dive into your sales figures with insights like revenue comparisons and average ticket sizes.

Please note that POS data can only be enabled when you integrate Workfeed with your POS system, you can view Workfeed's POS integrations here.

7. Labor percentage

When you enable 'Labor percentage', your daily labor percentage will automatically be calculated based on a day's labor costs and revenue and will be displayed below the schedule. If there's no labor or revenue figure present the field will remain empty.

8. Table booking data

When you enable 'Table booking data', Workfeed will automatically retrieve your table booking data from your table booking system and visualize the daily number of guests below the schedule. When you click on the number of guests, you'll be able to take a deeper dive into your table booking data. For instance, you can see at which times the guests arrive, when peak moments occur, and look into individual bookings.

Please note that table booking data can only be enabled when you integrate Workfeed with your table booking system, you can view Workfeed's table booking integrations here.

9. Weather

When you enable 'Weather', the weather forecast will be displayed above the schedule. You can define on which location the weather forecast should be based by adding a location to your department(s).
