Stay on track with sales and labor % targets

Updated over a month ago

Workfeed's Target's feature lets you define daily sales and labor percentage targets. Once you've set your targets, they’ll appear below your schedule. When the actual results start rolling in, they’ll be displayed right next to your targets with easy-to-read color highlights.

How to set targets

To set your targets, head to the dashboard view. You can open this by clicking on a specific date in the schedule or selecting the data summary above or below the schedule. Once you’re in the dashboard view, click on ‘Adjust targets’ and choose whether you want to define sales or labor percentage targets.

Sales/POS Targets

Once you click 'Adjust targets', you can define the date range in which you want to set sales targets. Next, you can manually specify different targets for each individual day or copy/paste targets from a period in the past.

Labor percentage targets

In case you want to define labor percentage targets, switch to the 'Labor %' tab.

When setting labor percentage targets, you can define a daily percentage goal for a chosen period. We recommend setting targets for a longer period, like a month, so that the same percentage is applied to each day. If needed, you can always tweak individual days by overwriting the default percentage.

Comparing targets with actual results

Once you’ve set your targets, they’ll show up below your schedule. As actual sales and labor data come in, it will be displayed right next to your targets. To make things even clearer, results will be color-coded: green means you’re on track, and red means you’re behind. This way, you can easily see how you’re doing and make adjustments when needed.
