POS and booking — Data insights

This article delves into the POS and table booking insights available below Workfeed's schedule view.

Updated today

If you've integrated Workfeed with your POS and/or booking system(s), Workfeed provides you with valuable data insights directly in the schedule. This article explains what insights you get and where you can find them.

Integrating your systems

Accessing insights requires an active integration with your POS and/or booking system(s). You can view and activate integrations in the settings of your Workfeed account within the 'Integrations' tab.

When you integrate Workfeed with your POS system, you will automatically find 'Sales' below the schedule when the integration is active. The same goes for booking. However, in this case, you will see 'Guests' appear. When you click on one of them, your insights will be displayed.

Data insights

POS data

Once you integrate Workfeed with your POS system, Workfeed will automatically retrieve your sales data from your POS system in real-time and visualize it below the schedule. When you click on the 'Sales' figure, you'll be able to take a deeper dive into your sales figures with insights like:

Table booking data

When you enable 'Table booking data', Workfeed will automatically retrieve your table booking data from your table booking system and visualize the daily number of guests below the schedule. When you click on the number of guests, you can take a deeper dive into your table booking data. For instance, you can see at which times the guests arrive, when peak moments occur, and look into individual bookings.
