How to export hours to your payroll system

Workfeed makes it easy to export all working hours directly to your payroll system at the end of the pay period. We offer two different ways to export the hours to your payroll provider. You can either send the hours directly to your payroll system (if supported) or download an Excel file organized in your payroller's preferred format. Both exports can be done in Workfeed's time tracking overview by clicking on export on the top right of the screen.

Note that both options are only available if Workfeed integrates with your payroll system and the integration is enabled in your account.

Exporting hours directly to your payroll provider.

To export the hours directly to your payroll provider, simply click 'Export' and select 'Export to NAME'.

Exporting hours to an Excel file in your payroller's format.

There are two ways to export your hours to Excel, depending on your payroll provider. The export works slightly differently if your integration allows you to send hours directly to your payroll system compared to integrations that can only export personalized Excel files.

My payroll integration allows direct exports but I still want to download an Excel file.

If your integration allows both direct and Excel exports, simply click 'Export' and click on the download '📩' icon. Your Excel file will be downloaded right away.

My payroll integration only allows Excel exports.

If you're integration only allows for Excel export in your payroller's preferred format, simply click 'Export' and select 'Export to NAME'. You're Excel file will be downloaded right away and is ready to be imported into your payroll system.
