Shopbox - POS integration

This guide explains how to activate the integration with Shopbox and how it works.

This guide tells you everything you need to know about the integration between Shopbox and Workfeed. The integration itself is very simple, but questions may naturally come up along the way. You can find answers to all of them below!

Setting up the integration

To set up the Shopbox integration, you'll need to do the following:

  1. Go to 'Settings' ⚙️ > 'Integrations' 🖇️ > 'Shopbox' > 'Start integration'.

  2. Select 'Yes, connect' and log in with your Shopbox login details at Shopbox.

Enabling the integration

Once you have connected the integration, you can activate the display of POS data in Workfeed. You do this by clicking the 👁 icon on the right-hand side of the schedule view.
When you click the eye icon, you can activate 'POS data'.

If you have multiple departments, you can match which data is shown where in Workfeed. You do this under: 'Settings' ⚙️ > 'Integrations' 🖇️ > 'Shopbox' > 'Match departments'.
Here, you match your Workfeed departments with the corresponding Shopbox departments.

Benefits of the integration

When you integrate Workfeed with Shopbox, sales figures are automatically visualized directly below the schedule. When you click a sales figure, you can dive into insights such as:

  • Sales comparisons with similar days

  • Average revenue per guest (also requires a table booking integration)

With this data at your fingertips, you can create schedules that match the expected revenue while keeping an eye on your labor costs, so you stay within budget.

Tips

Tips are automatically imported from Shopbox to your tip pool, so you can easily distribute them among the relevant employees.

FAQ

  1. What data does Workfeed retrieve from my Shopbox account?

    Workfeed retrieves each transaction from the connected Shopbox account.

  2. How often is Shopbox data imported into Workfeed?
    Your POS data is synced to Workfeed every 5 minutes.

  3. I do not see any sales figures in Workfeed. Why?

    There can be several reasons why sales figures are not shown in Workfeed:

    • First, check whether the integration has been activated correctly. You should be able to see if this is the case by going to: Settings > Integrations > and looking for a green mark with 'Integrated' next to the Shopbox logo.

    • If the integration has been activated correctly, you should be able to see sales data on days where data is available in your Shopbox account. Data will only be visible on past days or on the current day if transactions are present.

    • If you do not see any data, but the integration is activated, you can check whether transactions are visible in the connected Shopbox account. If they are, please contact our support team via the chat on our website.
